The Cave is a private recording studio and a multi-camera livestream video broadcast facility located on a small farm in Warrington, Cheshire.

The studio is run by Lucy Smith who has over 15 years of live and studio experience within the industry.  Lucy divides her time between The Cave and freelancing as a live sound and recording engineer across the world.

Greg 'Rozzy' Ison is the studios in-house session drummer and also helps with the day to day running of the studio.  He is a proudly endorsed by Mapex, Paiste, Vic Firth and Protection Racket.  Greg is also available for remote recording sessions.  Read more about Greg here.

Recording Booking Policy

• Studio hours = 10am to 8pm – 7 days a week

• All sessions are to be booked and rescheduled via email

• 2 hour minimum is required for all bookings

• 10% deposit required to book

• At least 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule any session - any less will forfeit deposit

• Deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a new appointment if you reschedule with more than 24 hours notice

• Sessions are to be PAID IN FULL at the end of the session and before any mixes or files are sent / copied

• All sessions are billed from the beginning of the scheduled time to the end of the scheduled time regardless of how much time is actually used (e.g. if you book 4 hours, you must pay for 4 hours even if you arrive late or finish early and only use 3 hours)

• Please bring a mac compatible storage device if you wish to receive copies of your mixes or stems offline
