About Me
My passion is working in the area of Live Entertainment. Live sound is my main field of expertise, from which I have gained knowledge and experiences in from my early teens. My previous experiences and confidence in configuring and operating a diverse range of professional sound reinforcement systems has enabled me to travel the world doing the job I love!

I am always looking for opportunities to work with a dynamic and professional company, utilising my wide range of technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and previous experiences to enhance all sound operations for the staging of live events and productions.

I am a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic and take pride in my professionalism. I am a proficient user of both PC and Mac computers and all Microsoft Office applications. Working to strict deadlines on a large number of projects has developed my excellent time management skills and the ability to review and adapt my working methods during the process. I am experienced in leading and working within teams on a range of projects, providing me with competence when communicating and working in groups. I was awarded NCFE North West Student of the Year for my outstanding efforts and portfolio of work produced whilst studying NCFE Level 2 Music Technology. I have over 10 years mixing experience from working in small pubs to large scale touring theatre productions and fast turnover music festivals. I also have an array of studio recording and mixing experience and I’m accustomed to a range of music production software including ProTools and Cubase. I am pro-active in familiarising myself with new technology and comfortable with the physical strain and long irregular hours of the industry.

ABBA tribute show. Touring UK theatres on a weekly basis working long and irregular hours. Undertaking a flexible role in the setup and deliverance of the show and working closely with in-house technical staff to ensure a smooth delivery of the shows AV design using Show Cue System. The show consistently sold out theatres with an average of 1000+ capacities – most notably venues in the Ambassador Theatre Group.

VOULEZ VOUS - INTERNATIONAL ABBA TRIBUTE SHOW

Producer / Sound Engineer / AV Technician / Tour Manager
Undertaking a flexible role in the proficient setup and delivery of the show. Typically specialising in sound and lighting as well as designing and implementing projection. Tours included South Africa, Spain and Cyprus, during this time I also acted as Tour Manager. Responsible for regularly maintaining and updating their website and social media representing the show to thousands of followers. I was the producer on their final tour, ’40 Years of Waterloo’ and marketed this nationwide to successfully sell out theatres across the UK.

Rock covers band. Regularly playing in local pubs/social clubs and a number of outdoor festivals. I also engineered, mixed, and mastered a four-track CD whilst comfortably meeting client set deadlines. Distributing the CD to local venues and fans resulted in a number of gig bookings. As LX Engineer, I
appropriately designed lighting and special effects to outfit the bands set and the venues in which they performed. LX was effectively delivered via pre-programmed scenes and DMX controller throughout the bands performance.

Norwegian music festival. I engineered a diverse range of acts around the city as part of the festival build up. I worked as part of a small technical team to rig the main festival stage. Following extensive patch lists and strict Health & Safety, I ensured efficient changeovers between acts.

Provided technical support to young musicians at a Norwegian youth centre. Ensured the safe running of rehearsal rooms and recording facilities at the centre. Worked alongside two successful Swedish producers in recording and mixing an album of the youths taking part.
